
Prerequisites: Basic Keelboat Sailing (101), Basic Coastal Cruising (103), Bareboat Cruising (104), and Coastal Navigation (105) Certification.
Duration: 3 Days; live aboard
Class size: Two students; this allows for continuous activity as each student takes turns at the helmsman and trimmer/navigator positions.
General Description: Student learns to safely act as skipper and/or crew of a sailing vessel during a cruise in near-coastal waters. Advanced Coastal Cruising (ASA-106) is a day and nighttime course. The course includes a practical exercise in nighttime Coastal Navigation.
