Contrary to liberal fantasy belief, there is no effective way to keep implements of violence out of the hands of evil people. It is only a matter of time until the next nut case unleashes their rage upon innocent, and sometimes not-so-innocent, people. So, what is the most effective way to deal with murderers—while supporting those who have the means and courage to end the violence? Chris Bird, author of Thank God I Had a Gun, presented an answer to that question at the 2013 Gun Rights Policy Conference in Houston, Texas.
