"Gun ownership is responsible citizenship..."
Thanks to Dave Hardy at the Of Arms and The Law website for posting a word-for-word comparison of the last five GOP platform statements regarding the party's view of the civil rights issue concerning a citizens' right to keep and bear arms. I agree with Dave's estimation that we won't ever see anything as accurate and candid as this year's GOP plank coming from the DNC. A reason in comparing only the GOP statements is to point out that even the GOP had to struggle to get it right, and they seem to be headed in the right direction for a change.
