The list of 'residents' of one of the graveyards near the area where I used to live include the 23rd President of the United States. In addition to the ex-president, there resides therein the remains of one of this nation's more notorious 1930's era gangsters. It has been reported by people who keep count of such things that the gangsters' grave receives more visitors than the ex-president's gravesite. This fact evokes some thoughts regarding the reason why this country is in such dire shape at the moment. What kind of shape are we in? This will make you wonder:

Last month, RR Auction of Amherst, NH auctioned off some memorabilia from the adventures of Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker, aka Bonnie and Clyde. The items included a .38 Colt revolver that was reportedly found taped to Parker's thigh when she met her demise, along with some crinkled glossy photo's that graphically illustrate the fact that both of the notorious outlaws were no longer a threat; one photo illustrates the difficulty that the mortician was having getting embalming fluid evenly distributed throughout Barrows' punctured remains. Also included in the auction were items such as Parker's cosmetic case, a blood-stained stocking, a pocket watch, and an empty aspirin tin that were found in the bullet riddled automobile. A list of 27 items shows that these items brought $345,540.00 at auction.
