2024 Tropical Storm Season Begins
It’s early in the season, but we have a couple of reminders that the new tropical season is here.
Tropical Storm ‘Alberto’ has formed over the western Gulf of Mexico as an 996mb storm, and appears to be headed overland for the Pacific Ocean.

A small area of low pressure north of the Bahama Islands, labeled ‘92L’, is being watched as it moves west onto the east coast of Florida sometime tomorrow as an 1016mb event.

It’s still early enough that there is a sufficient amount of dry air to aid in the dissipation of these low’s, but that will change.
Stay alert, stay safe.
