The Survey Says...
On October 13, Chapman University released its Survey of American Fears and revealed that more than twice as many Americans fear gun control than fear “mass shootings.”
While those on the left may scratch their heads to wonder how this could be, the facts are that gun control leads to gun-free zones, which, in turn, appear to be very popular with mass shooters.
According to Chapman University, 16.4 percent of Americans hold “mass shootings” as one of their greatest fears, while more than twice that many Americans, 36.5 percent, are “afraid” or “very afraid” of gun control.
In April of 2015, a random sample of 1,541 adults from across the United States were asked their level of fear about eighty-eight different fears across a huge variety of topics ranging from crime, the government, disasters, personal anxieties, technology and many others.
More and more people are finally wising up to the fact that entering a "gun-free zone" increases their odds of encountering a mass-murderer. Let's hope that they carry their wisdom to the polls; that should help lower that "58% fear of government" count!
