The Longest Rifle Shot Ever Recorded In Competition

Some details behind that 2.35 mile, yes mile, shot are provided in an article by John Snow. To give you an idea of the complexity of the shot, it is calculated that ‘elevation' had the bullet flying 200 feet above the ground at the 1000-yard mark on its travel from gun to target…. And then there was ‘windage’ to deal with!
